on another note, i had a lot of fun this weekend. yesterday was play day [as every saturday is for me because if i don't have one day where i don't have to mess with school then i get a little "ahh"]. anyways... me and a friend went shopping, to a movie, and then dinner. my favorite purchase of the day... a dress. it's true... my first dress since i was probably 10 years old.
let me just preface this next part with one thing... i don't scream during scary movies. i may get a little freaked out. i may even jump. but screaming... i don't do it. i have one time during a movie called Wrong Turn, but other than that... nada. so we're watching the previews before Baby Mama starts, and they were all either a comedy or action. except one. i didn't think anything about it [despite the fact that tay flipped out and covered her eyes]. i just have never seen a scary movie preview that was completely terrifying. until yesterday. let me just say that there is no way on God's green earth that i will be participating in the viewing of The Strangers. i screamed in the middle of the movie theater one this one part. of course, then i started laughing hysterically because i got tickled at myself for screaming in the middle of a movie theater. then i laughed even more because Baby Mama was SO STINKIN' GREAT!!! i thought it might be kind of sketchy, but it was so good. seriously. it was funny, good plotline, and even a little bit of meaning behind it.
today i got a little bit destructive. you see... i like taking things apart to see what's inside. if possible i like to see how they work, and put them back together. however, just taking them apart will suffice too. :) so i have this broken iPod. when i say broken i mean it had a little run-in with an arm of a chair in chapel last semester, and internally shattered it. Apple wouldn't fix it, and since it was useless to find anything on, and my dad decided he didn't want me to mail it to him anymore... i took it apart. it gave me a lot of satisfaction. here are some results:
this is just me trying to be artistic...
this would be the internally shattered screen. it was cuh-razy.
